Ruthie and Caroline are two creative professionals whose strengths complement each other. Caroline comes from a corporate media and post-production background, allowing for attention to brand messaging and effective production choices. Ruthie, on the other hand, focuses in media theory and digital strategy. Together, no stone is left unturned to maximize each project’s impact for each client.
Nutmeg Productions is supported by a team of freelance creatives around the Greater Boston Area. With a focus on marginalized communities (LGBTQ+, AAPI, BIPOC), Nutmeg aims to uplift creators and reach their most essential audiences.

The concept for Nutmeg Productions stemmed from watching favorite independent creators struggle to sell the true value of their work. Seeing a final product doesn’t always tell the full story of its creation. Nutmeg pulls back the curtain on the processes and expertise that go into finished work.
Who We Are
Caroline “CB” Barry
is a video editor, photographer, and hobby maximalist. Their past work in corporate video and food media informed the foundation of Nutmeg Productions. When they’re not pillaging craft stores in Boston, you can find CB sea glass hunting on Cape Cod.
